Andrea Freeman, bilingual mortgage broker

Hi, I'm Andrea

I grew up in Bolivia and now live in Sunnyvale, Texas, with my husband and our two kids. I'm a proud mom of a Sooner, and being involved in my kids' schools and our town has always mattered to me. I became a mortgage broker because buying a home is one of the biggest things a family does, and nobody should feel lost doing it, especially not in a second language.

First-time buyer questions I hear every week

How much do I need to buy my first home?

It depends on the loan program, the price of the home and your situation. Many first-time buyers are surprised to learn that 20% down isn't always required. You'll also want to plan for closing costs. On a quick call I can walk you through what applies to you.

Do I need perfect credit?

No. Credit matters, but every loan program has its own guidelines. If your credit needs work, I'll tell you honestly and help you make a plan.

I'm self-employed. Can I still buy a home?

Often, yes. Some loan programs look at bank statements instead of only tax returns. Approval depends on your income, credit and the program's guidelines.

Do you work in Spanish?

Yes. Spanish is my first language. I can explain everything, from the first call to the closing table, in Spanish or English, whichever you're more comfortable with.

What areas do you serve?

I help home buyers across Dallas-Fort Worth, including Sunnyvale, Mesquite, Garland, Rowlett, Dallas, Frisco and surrounding cities. I'm also licensed in Oklahoma.

What's the difference between prequalified and preapproved?

A prequalification is a quick estimate based on what you tell me. A preapproval means I've reviewed your documents and credit, which gives sellers more confidence in your offer.

Serving first-time home buyers in Sunnyvale, Mesquite, Garland, Rowlett, Dallas, Frisco and across Dallas-Fort Worth.
